This is a past event.

Monday, April 15 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Disagreement is essential to democracy. Ideally, in a democracy conflict among different points of view is productive, not damaging. In this lecture, Michael Fischer, Ph.D., explores the role the humanities can play in fostering the constructive approaches to conflict resolution healthy democracies depend on.

The lecture will take place from 4-5 p.m. with a reception to follow.

This event is free and open to the public.
