Mana Kia, associate professor at Columbia University, will deliver a virtual lecture titled, "What is Indo-Persian? Reapproaching Persianate Asia through Adab."

Dr. Kia is the author of Persianate Selves: Memories of Place and Origin before Nationalism (2020). Popular versions of her scholarship appear in the magazines Aeon and Psyche.

This lecture is the third to take place in this fall's Cross-Cultural Colloquium, a Zoom lecture series devoted to global literature, hosted by Shaj Mathew.
