In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. But there is hope! Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate of breast cancer is 99%.

October 2 is designated as the Wear Pink to work day to support National Breast Cancer Awareness. Visit the Northrup Hall Foyer or CSI Atrium on October 2 between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to pick up your Cancer Awareness lapel pin and a gourmet cupcake from GiGi’s. In addition, for those participating in the Wear Pink Day, you may enter a drawing to win one of several prizes. Winners will be announced via TigerTalk October 2 after 1:00 PM.
