Tuesday, May 22 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm

“The Changing Face of Fashion Weeks: Connecting Designers Direct to Consumers” – a live conversation with Matt Swinney ‘98, Founder, Austin Fashion Week, Fashion X Dallas, and Fashion X Houston

The conversation will help you:

  • Understand how the retail landscape has dramatically shifted and how independent fashion designers are impacted.
  • Learn about how designers market and connect directly to consumers while cutting out wholesalers and retailers.
  • Appreciate the value of high quality apparel and how to accumulate quality over the quantity of fast fashion.

Austin Fashion Week is the 4th largest fashion week in the United States and just celebrated its 10th anniversary. Fashion X Dallas and Fashion X Houston are the largest fashion events in those cities. Fashion X has a deep focus on providing fashion entertainment while giving designers and consumers the opportunity to connect directly through shows and pop up shops.

Trinity First Year Student Tia-Rose Victoria Pezzani ’21, will introduce Matt Swinney and moderate the webinar.
