Trinity University Alumni Relations and Special Events' Lifelong Learning Initiative for a panel of HCAD Trinity alumni experts as they discuss racial and ethnic disparities in health care. Health disparities occur when disadvantaged groups experience systemic lower quality health care than individuals in more advantaged social groups.

This discussion will be moderated by Malisha Patel '04, FACHE: Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Hermann Southwest (MHSW) and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land (MHSL) Hospitals. In this position, Malisha oversees the strategic development and daily operations for both campuses while improving quality, clinical integration and advancing the health of the community. Prior to this role, while Malisha was Vice President of Operations and Executive Champion, MHSL was bestowed the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the highest Presidential honor for performance excellence given in the country.
