The Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching is a distinguished award established in 1982 by Trinity University to honor and elevate the teaching profession. 
Trinity University and its Department of Education are proud to host the 44th Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching.

Each year, the prize recognizes exceptional educators from 16 school districts across San Antonio who demonstrate outstanding dedication, innovation, and impact in their classrooms and communities. Selected through a competitive nomination process, Trinity Prize honorees exemplify excellence in teaching, inspire student success, and make meaningful contributions to their schools. The award not only celebrates individual achievement but also underscores the vital role educators play in shaping future generations.

Trinity Prize 2026 is open to the public and will include refreshments.
