National Night Out enhances the relationship between the Trinity community and TUPD while restoring a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and the community together under positive circumstances. The state of Texas and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in October. We do this each year, and it's actually a national event.  

We will have an inflatable Joust, a dunking booth, popcorn and snowcone machines, Corn in a cup, pickles, hot dogs or hamburgers cooked there, an SAFD department engine for students to intervene with, a DJ, and, of course, our department patrol vehicle and an SAPD patrol vehicle that is a half taxi and half police car.

The festivities will take place between the Magic Stones and Miller Fountain.
