Training for Intervention Procedures, or better known as the 'TiPS" program, has a unique alcohol education curriculum for University Students. Using Staff and Student trainers alike, this 2.5 hour evidence-based workshop aims to equip, educate, and empower students to make safe and smart decisions to prevent alcohol-related problems. Topics include blood alcohol content, intoxication signs and factors, responsible hosting and liability, and effective intervention strategies. Students can receive course credit for facilitating workshops, and participants can earn Greek Life standards points, or other incentives for attending.
