Rosalind Phillips Vocal Competition

Sunday, November 18 at 3:00pm to 4:30pm

The Rosalind Phillips Vocal Competition honors outstanding Trinity vocal students with scholarship awards and the opportunity to perform with the Trinity Symphony Orchestra. The Competition is free and open to the public.

The annual Rosalind Phillips Vocal Competition for Trinity student singers was established in honor of Professor Emerita Rosalind Phillips, who passed away in 2009. In 1961 Miss Phillips joined the music faculty at Trinity University where she taught voice until her retirement in 1989. Her commitment to assisting young singers in developing their craft stretched far beyond outstanding vocal technique.
