This program will form alliances of artistic and cultural work between Mexico MX and the United States USA. These alliances are necessary to reinforce values and identities through research, education and art.

Prof. Santacruz will present her catalog on the work of the Salón del Arte Plastico using power point slides and the actual book will be on hand to demonstrate the themes and ideas she will present.

Cecilia Santacruz Langagne will give two (2) lectures, one on: "The Influence of Black Culture in Mexican Art since the Colonial Period" and the second on "The Role of the African American Artist, Elizabeth Catlett, in Modern Mexico"

Cecilia Sánchez Duarte besides being project coordinator and bilingual moderator in all five (5) events, she participates in the presentation as an artist featured in book/catalogs: “Mujeres del Salón de la Plástica Mexicana."
