The Trinity University Department of Art and Art History presents Meraki, an exhibition of artwork by senior art majors Alan Aguirre, Noah Davidson, Carly Hernandez, Bonnie Kenkel, Hunter Wilkins, Angela Wilson, and Deliasofia Zacarias.
Meraki is a Greek term meaning to pour one’s soul into one’s work. Through a wide variety of media, including sculpture, drawing, digital prints, painting, and photography, each artist shares their unique perspective. With each individual artist comes a different focus; through the exploration of social identity, creations of constructed fiction, and intimate observations of form, this intangible idea of meraki is revealed.
The featured artists have organized the exhibition (including publicity and installation) under the supervision of department faculty and staff.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 1-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday
