Jeanette Schäring is a Swedish interdisciplinary artist known for her community based projects that engage environmentalism and the ecology of color through textiles and natural dyes. Staged around a large communal table set with white linens, Schäring will lead a participatory performance that will explore color, food history and future of food. Colorful vegan food will be served under the blue sky with elements of song, ritual, storytelling and conversation, rooted in cultural heritage and ancient food traditions. The event is free to attend (it is not a meal).
