We will welcome Distinguished Research Professor Hakeem M. Oluseyi, Ph.D. to deliver a lecture as part of our celebration of Black History Month and the Distinguished Scientists Lecture Series. In addition to his numerous research accomplishments in astrophysics and cosmology, Professor Oluseyi is a commentator and contributor for numerous science shows such as How the Universe Works, and he is a co-author of a popular children’s science book. His lecture will be held in Laurie Auditorium, and as is the tradition in astronomy, the Physics and Astronomy Department will host a post-lecture star viewing.
The Distinguished Scientists Lecture Series is made possible by the Walter F. Brown Family of San Antonio.
