The 2026 Alvarez Seminar is entitled Religion in Art as Archive. On February 3 & 5, Yelaine Rodriguez will present Visualizing the Silenced Archive: Three Films. Yelaine Rodriguez is an Afro-Dominican interdisciplinary artist and scholar focusing on wearable art, sculptures, photography, video installation, and performance. Her work examines Afro-syncretism, ancestral and architectural memory, emphasizing the links between the Caribbean and the United States.
