A Community Conversation: Climate Emergency Panel

Climate change is becoming an increasingly urgent global problem, and Trinity students belong to the generation that will need to cope with this global catastrophe. This panel will bring together different voices from the community to discuss strategies for thinking through this issue and taking action. We will discuss what sort of consequences to expect, and how we might adapt and prepare to deal with some of the disruptions. This panel will highlight some of the more vulnerable communities that will bear the brunt of the negative effects caused by climate change.

The panel will feature representatives from the following groups. :

Earth Strike!

Green Party

Housing Justice San Antonio

Poor People's Campaign

Party of Socialism and Liberation

Democratic Socialists of America

The panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer session. This event is free and open to the public.
