One Trinity Place, San Antonio, Texas 78212

Suzan-Lori Parks wrote her collection 365 Days / 365 Plays one play per day for a year. The Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright described her intention and experience in devotional terms: "It became a daily meditation, a daily prayer celebrating the rich and strange process of a writing life." Ranging from a single paragraph of stage directions to a few pages of dialogue, these brief plays explore the micro and the macro, identity and community, historical and personal time, race and gender, and what it means to be American.

For Trinity University Theatre's first production of the 2021-22 season, we will perform (and/or film) a dozen or so of these plays in various settings around the Ruth Taylor Theatre building.
