Join the 38th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration
The Student Inclusion and Belonging Office (SIB), in collaboration with the City of San Antonio, District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, and the San Antonio Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, invites you to participate in the nation’s largest MLK march.
Meet at the Trinity Bell Athletic Center from 7:30-7:45 a.m. to check-in. SIB will provide T-shirts and snacks (while supplies last), and the buses will depart at 8 a.m. and return between 1-2 p.m. Students can RSVP for the march through GivePulse by Monday, January 13, by 8 a.m. or when space runs out.
SIB will be prioritizing student RSVPs, but if they have room, they will gladly transport other Trinity campus community members such as faculty or staff assisting with the march for the University starting at 8 a.m. If they max out on room, then SIB will recommend all other carpooling vehicles travel with the buses to park at the St. Philip's College. The MLK Commission is requesting that all vehicles utilize the St. Philip’s parking spaces and walk to the designated participation location.
Bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
