The minor in American Intercultural Studies advances students’ skills for intercultural understanding and cooperation in today’s society. The program explores historical events and experiences involving race and ethnicity and enhances positive associations with multicultural communities.
Housed in the Department of Art and Art History, the minor introduces students to the major works and problems of architectural history and the techniques of visual and spatial representation. In consultation with faculty students may organize a course of study beyond the minor that will prepare them to apply to graduate programs in architecture and related fields.
